In the old bus station on Plaza Seneca in the centre of Alicante, there are often interesting events and exhibitions. Unfortunately, the municipality (which owns the building) does very little to publicise these events. As a result, it seems that mainly people who happen to be passing by get to see those exhibitions, which is real pity. And so it was with the just concluded exhibition of feminist art–I happened upon it last week when shopping at the nearby Mara Market, an Eastern European grocery store.
The exhibition ended on July 2nd, so most of you have probably missed it. Therefore, I present a selection of the works here, starting with the description of the exhibition and a list of the artists.
